Welcome to the Latinx Games Festival! We prioritize the health and safety of all our attendees. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
General Health Precautions:
- Stay Home if Unwell: If you are experiencing any symptoms of illness, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please stay home to protect the health of other attendees.
- Sanitization: Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the venue. Please use them frequently.
- Face Masks: Masks are recommended, especially in crowded areas, to help prevent the spread of illness.
Hygiene and Cleanliness:
- Regular Cleaning: High-touch areas, including Arcade equipment and seating, will be regularly sanitized by our cleaning staff.
- Personal Hygiene: We encourage all attendees to practice good personal hygiene, including frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer.
Venue Safety:
- Capacity Limits: To avoid overcrowding, we will monitor and limit the number of attendees in each area, including Panel Rooms and the Arcade.
- Ventilation: The venue is equipped with proper ventilation systems to ensure a continuous flow of fresh air.
- Social Distancing: Please respect others’ personal space and maintain considerate distancing as needed.
Emergency Procedures:
- Emergency Exits: Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits and follow the instructions of event staff in case of an emergency.
Respectful Behavior:
- Inclusivity: We are committed to providing a harassment-free event experience. Please be respectful and considerate of all attendees.
- Report Concerns: If you witness or experience any behavior that violates our Code of Conduct, please report it to a conference organizer.
Overall Wellness:
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water and carrying a reusable water bottle.
- Keep phones charged and carry any important numbers with you.
- Carry details of any medications and allergies with you.
- Be mindful of the weather each day and dress accordingly.
- Wear comfortable shoes.
- Protect yourself from the sun by wearing sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.
- Get an appropriate amount of sleep.
- Look out for others. Help others when safe to do so. When you are at Latinx Games Festival, if you become aware of someone who is ill or needs help, inform the event or venue staff immediately.
